Braybrooke Morris Dancers

Morris dancers outside the Swan at Braybrooke

We  are a friendly group and most of us were beginners when we started. Our Morris Dancing Group was formed in 1989 and comprises both men and women. We concentrate mainly on dances from the Cotswolds.

We meet to dance on Monday evenings throughout the year. We practise in the village hall during the winter months (second Monday of the month in the Guide Hut, near Market Harborough Leisure Centre) and during the summer, ‘dance out’ at local village pubs.

Morris Dancing is a great way to relieve the stresses and tensions of modern day life and get a bit of exercise. It's great beating your friends with long sticks (legally) after a hard day's work!

Why not come along and try Morris Dancing - you might just enjoy it!

(No experience necessary - just a sense of fun!)
